<li>– <strong>House Allowance</strong>: Kes 24,000 monthly</li>

<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>
<p>Candidates must meet the following requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>– Six (6) years cumulative experience, three (3) years of which should have been at the grade of Driver II or comparable position in the public or private sector</li>
<li>– KCSE mean grade D (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent</li>
<li>– Valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s)</li>
<li>– Passed Occupational Trade Test II for Drivers</li>
<li>– Defensive Driving Certificate from a recognized institution</li>
<li>– Refresher Driving course lasting not less than one week from a recognized institution</li>
<li>– Certificate of Good Conduct (renewable after one (1) year)</li>
<li>– Refresher course in First Aid lasting not less than one (1) week</li>
<li>– Certificate in computer applications</li>
<li>– Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results</li>

<h2>Core Responsibilities</h2>
<p>The Driver I will be responsible for:</p>
<h3>Vehicle Operation and Maintenance</h3>
<ul>
<li>– Driving the Authority vehicle as authorized</li>
<li>– Carrying out minor mechanical adjustments when necessary</li>
<li>– Recognizing and promptly reporting mechanical defaults of the vehicles</li>
<li>– Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road</li>
</ul>
<h3>Transport Management</h3>
<ul>
<li>– Monitoring and reporting expiry of insurance policies for motor vehicles</li>
<li>– Overseeing transport management within their scope</li>
<li>– Preparing and submitting reports on transport when need arises</li>
<li>– Ensuring safety of passengers and/or goods therein</li>
</ul>
