You will influence architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and deliver user interfaces that are visually refined, accessible, resilient, and performant.<br><br>This is a Hybrid position located in Frisco, TX. You will be required to be on-site on an as-needed basis; when you are not working on-site, you will work from your home office. You must be within a commutable distance to Frisco, TX. We are not offering relocation assistance.<p></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><ul><li><p>Leading the design and development of scalable, high‑performance user interfaces for web applications.</p></li><li><p>Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.</p></li><li><p>Driving technical direction and participating in architectural planning.</p></li><li><p>Mentoring junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and best‑practice guidance.</p></li><li><p>Working across teams to design, develop, debug, and deliver production‑ready features.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About You</b></p><ul><li><p>5–8 years of professional Full Stack development experience.</p></li><li><p>Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.</p></li><li><p>Deep expertise with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, as well as GoLang and NodeJSon the backend.</p></li><li><p>Experience with state management tools (e.g., Redux, MobX, Pinia).</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and browser internals.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with performance profiling tools (Lighthouse, Webpack, Chrome DevTools).</p></li><li><p>Experience with CI/CD and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and internationalization (i18n).</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.</p></li><li><p>Experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Comfort working within Agile/Scrum processes.</p></li><li><p>Designing, building, and maintaining advanced frontend and backend architectures using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies</p></li><li><p>Leading and owning end‑to‑end technical design discussions, architectural reviews, and decisions for both frontend and backend components.</p></li><li><p>Writing clean, modular, scalable, and well‑tested code for both client‑side and server‑side systems.</p></li><li><p>Designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, data integration layers, and scalable backend services with strong performance and reliability in mind.</p></li><li><p>Driving engineering best practices, coding standards, observability, and performance optimization strategies across the frontend and backend.</p></li><li><p>Staying informed about emerging technologies, architectural patterns, and industry trends, and evaluating new tools for adoption.</p></li><li><p>Ensuring high-quality implementations through unit, integration, contract, and end‑to‑end testing across both frontend and backend layers.</p></li><li><p>Applying strong software design principles (SOLID, separation of concerns, domain-driven design, modular architecture).</p></li><li><p>Collaborating, analyzing requirements, documenting designs, and converging on solutions in large team or cross-functional technical discussions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-Hybrid</p><h2><br /><br /><b><i><span>Company Overview</span></i></b></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>McAfee is a leader in personal security for consumers.
