<h3>Job description</h3>
<p>Are you an organized and motivated individual interested in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and event planning? NephCure is seeking a highly driven Fundraising & Events Intern to support our team this summer. This role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit development, communications, and community engagement – all while making a difference in the lives of patients affected by rare kidney diseases.<br />

Responsibilities:<br />
<br />
Donor & Data Support:<br />
• Assist with entering and managing donor data and reports<br />
• Help ensure accuracy and organization of fundraising and donor records<br />
<br />
Event & Campaign Assistance:<br />
• Support planning and logistics for fundraising events and campaigns<br />
• Help with tasks like attendee management, auction item prep, and materials coordination<br />
<br />
Development Operations & Outreach:<br />
• Assist with donor research and outreach, including identifying prospects and supporting donor engagement efforts<br />
• Help coordinate mailings, scheduling, and logistics for fundraising campaigns and initiatives<br />
<br />
Marketing & Communications:<br />
• Help draft donor emails, fundraising materials, and social media content<br />
• Collaborate with the team on campaign messaging and visuals<br />
<br />
Qualifications:<br />
• Currently pursuing a degree in event management, business administration, marketing, nonprofit management, communications or a related field.<br />
• Strong writing, communication, and research skills<br />
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Salesforce experience is a plus<br />
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks<br />
• A team player who can also work independently and take initiative<br />

Details:<br />
• Internship runs June-August 2025 (flexible scheduling)<br />
• 10 hours/week (120 total hours)<br />
• Fully remote<br />
• Stipend: $2,500<br />
