About the position

The part-time Classroom Assistant at Serenity Learning Center plays a vital role in supporting the lead teacher and fostering a nurturing learning environment for students aged 10-13. This position emphasizes the application of Conscious Discipline principles to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The assistant will work closely with the lead teacher to engage with students, provide individual support, and implement holistic educational practices.

 

Responsibilities

Support individual students with engagement and behavior during class time.

Implement Conscious Discipline methods as directed by the lead teacher.

Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to provide extra support with activities.

Assist in subjects such as math, reading, writing, science, and history discussions.
