Procurement Intern – Mombasa job id-1190

Description

Alpha Kenya is a leading service provider dedicated to excellence in procurement, supply chain management, and operational efficiency. We are seeking a motivated Procurement Intern to join our team in Mombasa.

Key Responsibilities:

             Assist in sourcing and procuring goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.

             Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.

             Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and management.

             Help maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases.

             Participate in price comparisons, vendor negotiations, and market surveys.

             Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.

             Assist with stock management and inventory reconciliation.

             Ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately.

             Provide administrative support to the procurement department as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

             Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

             Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
