<ul> <li>To perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of tractors and related agricultural machinery to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal downtime as per manufacturer recommendations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>Diagnostic Assessments & Repairs</p> <ul> <li>Conduct diagnostic assessments and inspections on tractors and mechanical systems, providing recommendations both in the field and workshop.</li> <li>Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.</li> <li>Perform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system fixes, and hydraulic repairs as per OEM standards.</li> </ul> <p>Preventive Maintenance</p> <ul> <li>Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and system checks.</li> <li>Perform pre-delivery inspections and assembly of new units.</li> <li>Follow manufacturer guidelines and maintenance schedules.</li> </ul> <p>Testing & Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.</li> <li>Document all repairs and maintenance performed.</li> </ul> <p>Customer Service</p> <ul> <li>Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and provide equipment care recommendations.</li> <li>Advise supervisors appropriately after engaging with customers on maintenance and repair requirements.</li> </ul> <p>Workshop Safety & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment.</li> <li>Tools Management & Reporting</li> <li>Ensure safe and proper maintenance of tools and diagnostic equipment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate service records, schedules, and part usage.</li> <li>Inform supervisor of any required spare parts for repairs.</li> <li>Technical Support & Training</li> <li>Provide technical support to operators and colleagues.</li> <li>Complete warranty and product improvement work per OEM instructions.</li> <li>Participate in OEM and company training as required.</li> </ul>
