A well-established South African company, focussing on the braai and outdoor market, currently has an opportunity for a self-motivated and highly driven Independant Sales Agent (Gauteng & Southern Mpumalanga) to join their team.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for sales in the greater Gauteng area as well as Southern Mpumalanga. Key focus will be on servicing a well-established customer base, consisting of chain stores (±130), retail outlets (±70) as well as adding new customers. Supported by the sales office and the marketing team, the ideal candidate will be able to reach and exceed set sales targets by marketing both our existing products as well as our ever-growing portfolio of new products. You will demonstrate effective communication, administration and planning skills and regularly service your client base on a minimum 2 week and maximum 4 week calling cycle. Servicing of multiple principals is also allowed provided that there are no conflict of interest.

Requirements:
- Matric
- At least 5 years sales experience within a retail environment (proven sales track record is a must)
- Experience working with retailers like Pick ‘n Pay, Spar, Mica, Build-It, Buco, Obaro will be advantageous
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Must be self-disciplined and driven for results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate (especially MS Office Suite)
- Proficient in both English and Afrikaans
- Experienced in cold calling
- Own reliable vehicle, laptop/PC and cell phone
A market-related commission structure will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills and experience.
