SUMMARY:
Our Client in the Fashion Industry based in Edenvale is seeking a Stock Controller to join their team
POSITION INFO: Qualifications and Experience:
Matric
Finance related tertiary qualification would be advantageous
Computer literate and intermediate Microsoft Excel
Experience in a retail environment and/or stock room/warehouse environment
Drivers License and own reliable vehicle
Responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting official on-site stock takes
- Reporting findings to the area manager, stock administrator and the business
- Supporting and training staff with regards to proper inventory management and stock movement
- Knowing, understanding and enforcing stock movement policies and procedures within stores (and where necessary suggestion improvement to existing procedures or proposing a new procedure for a loophole uncovered)
- Extensive traveling to sites for on-site stock taking
- Basic troubleshooting on scanners
- Adhoc duties when needed regarding weekly count monitoring, notion updating, queries from stores, adjustments for head office
